A nice little spoon measuring 9cm (approx) and weighing 7 grams even if worn with slight damage to the side of the spoon it still a lovely little thing, I don't think it would take much for a silversmith to tap out if required.
Hallmarks show Edinburgh thistle and an italicised "I" as the year mark which dates to 1814. The maker is either HS or SH and although I cant identify the maker. This mark is registered in silver marks.co.uk seen on spoons 1815 and 1830 so it does all tie in nicely.
There is a inscription in the from of the head though it is well worn and almost invisible.
